After a busy Star Atlas Summer, with three Town Halls, the dust is slowly settling! That means there wasn’t much news this past week, though the Econ Forum proved to be the big exception. Weekly Star Atlas Newsletter #195

Star Atlas Summer has officially wrapped up! The third and final Town Hall of the summer took place this past week, closing the season on a high note with a wide range of updates. For the first time, UE5 has been tied into the SAGE economy through a new earnable resource, INK, marking a major step in unifying the game’s experiences. To celebrate, the team hosted a Double XP (and double INK) weekend, giving players an early taste of this new system. At the same time, the team’s home-brewed SAGE Editor Suite was released to the public, allowing everyone to experiment with the tools and mechanics that will define SAGE C4 when it arrives on PTR later this year. Additionally, the team introduced Phantom Starbases to Starbase, shared the roadmap for Holosim, released a new UE5 patch, and launched Star Frame, the team’s brand-new open-source Solana framework set to replace Anchor.

The Holosim beta is about to end, and Dominic Vain has transitioned to Marketing Manager!
